FAR North women are flocking to join an Australia-wide trend of heading to Thailand for sun, sand and silicone. But is it safe?
Cairns-based company International Cosmetic Tours was established 15 months ago by 23-year-old Jessica Cameron, a Cairns local and former nursing student who has what she refers to as "a passion for cosmetic surgery".
"I went abroad to find that Thailand is home to some of the most highly respected and clean hospitals in the world, housing, in my eyes, the best plastic surgeons in the field," she said.
Ms Cameron liaises between these hospitals and her customers.
